Thrive Homes engages Sovereign for a further two years
Sovereign is pleased to announce a two year extension of its Managed IT Service provision to award-winning Housing Association, Thrive Homes. Thrive Homes manages and owns over 4,000 rented and leasehold properties in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Having provided IT support to Thrive for the past seven years, Sovereign now comprises 90% of Thrive’s IT team, and this successful integration was recently acknowledged through the nomination of a Sovereign employee for one of Thrive’s internal employee awards.
The initial interim contract involved alleviating the IT challenges and disruption faced by Thrive following their independence from Three River’s District Council. Sovereign’s tailored and flexible approach helped to identify areas of improvement in Thrive’s existing infrastructure and subsequently provide cost-effective solutions that were in line with Thrive’s values and goals, to ultimately maintain their high standards of customer service. After winning the five-year tender to be a long-term IT supplier for Thrive, the partnership continued to strengthen and Sovereign’s focus, ensured future solutions were unique and specifically-tailored to the business needs of Thrive.
The use of Sovereign’s Tier III standard data centre facility which is accredited to ISO27001:2013, together with Sovereign’s bespoke expertise has ensured Thrive’s IT department is highly-effective, cost-efficient, secure and robust.
Director of Resources at Thrive Homes, Shaun McLean states, ‘Sovereign has shown real commitment to our values. At times they have worked into the night, ensuring the right systems are in place to support new software without having to cause daytime disruption to the networks. As our IT team, Sovereign engage at all levels within Thrive. In particular, they work strategically with our Head of IT to make sure our infrastructure is always aligned with what we want to achieve as an organisation.’
